Every photo in this series I have seen and grown fonder of as it progressed. *finishes Mountain Dew* god damnit, I'm out. anyways...
I have seen you grow from an amatuer photographer to an elite photographer and manipulator and I was always impressed with your work. You have inspired me to take up photography again (yet none will be on DA, mainly local art) and I thank you greatly for it.
Anywhores... about the picture. I obviously love it. The scene is very surreal, I don't think I'd ever see anything like that anywhere, but ya know I could, and then I'd crap myself at the beauty. You did a brilliant job with the lighting, assuming many night photos are dark, but it was prolly touched up in PS . I've been noticing borders and this one fits fantastically, adds a certain amount of closure or finale to the scene as well as a surreal advantage. The reflections are well, they fit the sky amazingly. And that tree is scary. Out of the series, I admire the tree. It's placing, the way it arcs, it's just great. And it's in the left side which makes it standout even more as the sky, is obviously the main view, and then a lonely tree catches you off guard. But that's just me. I really have no criticism as I'd consider this a nearly perfect photo and manip (as there is no "perfect" photograph). I shall see you later Raun...I'm always watching.
Stunning work. This series really is brilliant. There's a bit of a surreal quality about this shot. I think it's because of that haunting tree and the dark shadows where you can barely makeout what's going on. It looks like there's a face in the sky with those thick, pillowy clouds. I love the light breaking through, especially behind the tree where the light is sparse.
Each shot in this series takes on its own personality.
I'm abit dissapointed of you calling it simple replications. Many hours went into each photo, in an attempt to make them unique and different from eachother. If I understand the word replication it means to reproduce or make an exact copy or copies. But whatever...
Awww. The series is over. *sniffle* All of them were so amazing! I agree with everyone. You should make it a wallpaper pack. *sigh* That would be great. And make them prints! It look so awesome to hang all of them up in order on my wall. *squeal*
that cloudscape is simply inspiring, absolutely beautiful stuff raun. The only conceivable thing that would be to my personal preference would be a larger size, however this is gorgeous stuff, you could release a wallpaper pack
