There are countless things I admire about America. But US Foreign Policy and Foreign Aid is not one of them. Contemporary perceptions of words like solidarity, humanity, diversity and not least compassion, are morbidly distorted from the original meaning of the words. How you’ve treated citizens in Cuba, Vietnam, Korea, Guatemala, Pakistan, Iraq et cetera et cetera is simply horrifying. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
I checked up on a word in my dictionary:
Aid : intr. & tr.v., aid•ed, aid•ing: To help or furnish with help, support, or relief.
Translations:
Nederlands (Dutch): hulp(middel), helper, helpen, bevorderen
Français (French): aider, aide, auxiliaire, moyen
Deutsch (German):n. - Hilfe, Hilfsmittel v. – helfen
U.S (English):n – Corner them, and crush em like you’d crush a bug..

but this topic is a MESS, and not really even worth discussing, unless you're going to discuss a specific topic within this issue.
I began researching and it's quite interesting how many sides there are to this topic. As far as Iraq goes, something had to be done, but we cornered them, and crushed 'em like a bug... well put!
And we definitely went about it the wrong way and didn't really think that one through. Now we're trying to build a government between people who are going to goto civil war, attracting neighboring terrorists and further wrecking their country. Way to go US. The new war of attrition that's going to end terribly for them and put US in further debt.
