I don't like the border. My opinion is that is too commercial with that border.

The foto is great, but actually I want to know how to make such frames =))) can you please tell me, have you ever attended some special lessons(photography, PS), or have you learned how to do all this things by your own experements?
It's very important for me to know it, because I really want to reach your level someday=)

hi and thanks for your comment. To make this frame you need special photoshop brushes. I've later updated to ps cs2, so I no longer have this brush, I think it was called blood_splatter, but any splatter brush will do. The trick is make the bordersplashes match the colors in the photo, to do this is use gradient maps, which you probably already have used, and if not, is very easy and straightforward.
I've never attended photography or photoshop lessons, and I've only read a very basic 70 page intro to photoshop7. The rest is just a result of many hours in front of the pc or behind the camera, experimenting. I love the 'undo' botton :giggle:

Out of the whole gallery this picture struck me the hardest! :heart: It must be the color! I don't see very much of that particular lime color anywhere! ^^;

I know how you feel man- same here. We got hit with an Indian Summer for a few days, but we're back to freezing.
My seasonal music: The Streets - Stay Positive. Definately check it out :) Lyrics: here.
Time to hold tight and brace ourselves for the winds of winter :\

I would like it more if it looked like the hair was wet. It looks odd with water coming out of I don't know where.

hi and thanks for your comment. If by " the original" you mean my "splash" photo then I'd just like to say its two different shots. I think the drops are sharper and the light is better overall on "splash", but I like the silluet and the shape of the hair better on this one.
Anyway, thanks for your comments and :+fav: (on splash :lol: Now ive confused myself)

Wow, I loved the color you used. It gives a refreshing feel, just like jumping into the swimming pool on a damn hot day... :)

I really liked that "interaction" between border and background; the shot is really beautiful, caught in the perfect moment. Oh, and that hair... it seems so soft, touchable... may I have it? :P

Great job!!!
