I love this. :)
I'm reminded of the Cold War years... even though this is set in the future.
This is so funny, with its oddness, and cute, because of the symbols of innocence, growth and stability, like the the little boy, the watering can, the regular American child's breakfast of cereal, and little cartoony mug... but with that gas mask, it's really not at all funny and cute...
I really like your photo album frame. :)

i love the 'make your favourites random' option - it means i can revisit some pieces that i really love, this being one of them. my last comment on this was less than eloquent, so i apologise, but i really do love the way this has been put together and how the kid is doing such ordinary things, but what such a difference having a gas mask on makes. its scary to think that this actually might be our future, who knows? i love the softness of all 3 images - this juxtaposed the idea well. the only thing i have an issue with is the rough blur in the background of the final image - it jsut doesnt seem to fit. i like the notebook feel you have given this - it makes it seem very every-day and as though we are looking back at this in a scrapbook.

This is a really great series of shots! the gas mask is such a hard hitting statment! this photo has a reality for all of us within it. the black and white makes it timeless..... :+favlove: ........i really like the way you have framed it too! it finishes it so well.
