Went and saw The Kiterunner this weekend. I was totally unprepared, actually I was very uninspired, and would much rather have seen one of those hollywood monster splatter movies, but thought that if I agreed to waste a couple of hours on this bullshit movie, maybe next time my girlfriend would feel obliged to see something supershallow, maybe an angelina jollie flick, or something, next time we're headed for the cinema.

Well, 2 hours later, I sit there in the movieseat, tears bursting out of my eyes .. No other in my line of sight seemed the slightest bit moved. Now I really need to hear if there is anybody out there who also cried over this movie, and who, like me, normally NEVER cries over movies. I'm worried I'm getting really old and sentimental, but it felt like that movie totally broke my heart. Tell me how you sobbed your way through this movie, please!

Last but not least, what is this I hear about a new fav system on devART? Does this mean that other than the usual 5-10 people will have a shot at reaching the devART frontpage again? I dont see anything different in the browse section..

Thanks for all the great input in my previous journal. Some were very helpful when I arrived in Tokyo! I'm going on a new trip now, and I'm hoping for some new pointers.

Soon I'll have to bring a car from denmark to southern france (Cannes). I have a few days to spend and I'm thinking about turning this trip into a hunt for dream photolocations. I want to see medieval fortresses, beautiful landscapes, majestic mountains. My problem is I've got almost no knowledge about germany and france, or where to find the really good stuff. I'm hoping some of the visitors to this page would bless me with their best suggestions :-)
Locations doesnt have to be on the straight path between Århus and Cannes, I dont mind long detours as long as the destination is worth it. Thanks in advance :-)

Goin to tokyo next week  My oldtime friend neis69 invited me there, ticked paid and everything, what a guy!
I've bought the lonely planets guide book, which contains 200 pages of major tourist stuff, like the imperial palace & the tsukiji fish market etc. I was wondering if anybody on here had good knowledge about the city, about the 'notsowellknown' things that are worth seeing, maybe about good photolocations (for a long time I've had a dream of making long exposures of the crazy chaotic tokyo highways wiggling in and out of eachother, but I dont know the best spots to do it)..
I'd like to come home with some good streetphotography, but I'm inexperienced in that field of photography. Give me all your good advices, onegai shimasu ;-)
